The reco reco is a metal scraping instrument which is held in one hand whilst the other hand scrapes it with a metal stick.

The reco-reco is made of a hollow metal cylinder across which metal springs are stretched. Scraping the reco - reco's springs with the metal stick makes a surprisingly loud sawing noise.
