Lightweight Brazilian surdo marching drum designed for childrens samba groups or as a centrador surdo drum (third surdo)
in an adult samba band, and in other marching percussion groups. The body is 10cm shorter than a normal adult surdo,
and the instrument weighs only 4.5kg. Hardened aluminium body with stainless steel ring and struts (light weight,
heavy-duty, sturdy construction) with 6 tuning rods. The picture shows one with a leather skin, but we normally
provide these with nylon skin, leather by request (but at no extra price). Made by craftsmen from the Artcelsior
or King factories in Rio de Janeiro.
