accessories for 30 adults (not suitable for primary schools).
This package has been selected
to give the balance of sound normal in a samba band. All istruments are lightweight aluminium samba
percusion instrumnts from Artcelsior and other top suppliers to the Rio samba schools.
This adult samba pack is not overweighted with cheap hand percussion items to make it look like a bargain.
You need a basic core of surdos, caixas and repiniques to hold the sound of the band together,
especially if playing outdoors.
Our surdos and repiniques have skins at both ends and can therefore be tuned up without damaging the drum.
They are made of top quality anodised aluminium so that if they recieve heavy impact they will usually
buckle rather then crack, and can be persuaded back into shape with a rubber mallet.
Minor buckling and scratching these drums will not affect their sound or lifespan.
