This long handled brazilian wooden surdo drum beater / mallet is available in several colours. It is recommended for first and second surdos in samba bands.

It has a firm, padded furry head, is 35cm long, and is made in Rio de Janeiro.

These beaters are made for the samba schools of Rio, not for the export market, and satisfy the rigorous demands of a well informed local market. They are well balanced and long lasting.

Usually available in red, green, blue, black and white (check drop down box for current stock of colors)
