Professional Xequere - also known as cabasa, shekere, Abê, chekere - in all cases
this is a natural gourd shaker with beaded net cover, used widely in Brazilian percussion and
in more general percussion settings. Our Xequeres are of top quality with a solid gourd,
dense black beading and a very mellow tone coming out of the gourd sound box.
Shapes and sizes vary considerably but they are approx. 27cm long by 20cm wide.
