| THE SAMBISTAS FAVOURITE CDs
This list of Brazilian record reviews was compiled through members of the Sambistas mailing list.
In September 2000, people on the list nominated their 10 favourite
Afro-Brazilian recordings, and Giselle then compiled the results
into a table. Other webmasters were then encouraged to put this
information onto their sites.
The purpose of this exercise was to compile a list of the records and CDs which have inspired the people on the sambistas mailing list, recordings in afro-brazilian style which people think are classics ( including compilations). Others can use the list as a reference when building up their own collections.
